Your baby’s newborn portraits are a gift for you, your family and for generations to come. This chapter in your life will only last a short while. Newborn babies change daily, and Emily is here to capture these precious first weeks of life that go by so quickly.

Expecting clients should reserve their due date in their second trimester to ensure you receive a spot on Emily’s calendar. Pre-booking a newborn session guarantees you a spot on Emily’s calendar within the first two weeks of notification of the baby’s birth (pending that there are no complications).

Clients will receive a session guide with all of the information on what to expect, what to pack, what to wear, etc. Clients will also complete a questionnaire where props and colors can be chosen before your session so that sets can be designed and ready when your little one arrives.
All props are provided to ensure your photos align with Emily's timeless style, as seen in her newborn portfolio. All newborn sessions occur in Emily’s studio on Monday through Friday with about an 11:00 am start time. Studio location is About 45 min south of Albany, NY

Up to 3-hour session
Baby will be photographed in a variety of poses (wrapped, unwrapped and basket/prop poses)
This package includes sibling, parent and/or family images if desired
Up to 20 Digital Images with Black and White Copies (40 total images)

The Tiny $400
Up to 1 Hour Session
Photos of BABY ONLY (wrapped)
Baby will be photographed on one solid backdrop set-up and in 1-2 prop set-ups.
Up to 10 Digital Images with Black and White Copies (20 total photos)

If you would like to add extra images beyond your package, that's absolutely fine. Additional photos cost $20 per image, 5 for $85, 10 for $160, or 20 digitals for $300
A $200 non-refundable/non-transferable session fee is required to secure your session. This will be applied to the collection you selected. The remaining balance is due on the date of your session. Session retainers must be paid and a contract signed within 24 hours to retain your session date. Session fees and details are subject to change at any time - and are locked in when booking your session.

SAFETY MATTERS
With over 14 years of experience photographing newborns, safety has always been my main priority. carefully posing and positioning baby during the session. your newborns safety and comfort is always in mind even when selecting textiles and props.
During the sessions this is also a great chance to relax and enjoy a much-needed break. Feel free to sit and watch as I carefully document all the tiny details you'll cherish forever. You're also welcome to snap behind-the-scenes photos or videos too.
